The BHBIA recognises the importance of attracting, developing and retaining the best and brightest people for healthcare Business Intelligence. The Rising Stars Connect Group is our special interest group aimed at supporting the wealth of emerging talent we have within our membership. The group welcomes members with up to five years’ experience in healthcare business intelligence who would like to connect with, and get to know, like-minded individuals in our industry. 

For our next meeting, we are delighted to welcome Clare Hopkins, Field Director at Just Worldwide as our guest speaker. Clare has extensive experience of healthcare recruitment, both within the UK and globally, and is an expert in best practice when recruiting respondent types across different markets. 

Clare will be sharing her insights on how to deal with difficult recruitment, particularly focusing on EU5 and the US, as well as markets such as China and Japan. In particular she will touch on: 

• Cultural nuances within different markets and how this can affect recruitment 
• How the recruitment landscape has changed over recent years 
• The impact of ever evolving technology 
• Regulatory issues and the shift in mindset of respondent’s rights 
• The benefits of including recruitment partners at the outset of project design 

After the presentation there will be a Q&A session where you can put questions to Clare. We will round off the meeting with break out groups where you’ll have the opportunity to discuss topics related to Clare’s presentation with other members of the group.
