Environmental responsibility is more essential than ever in today's healthcare landscape. Sustainable practices not only protect our planet but also ensure the well-being of current and future generations.
The BHBIA is committed to supporting our members wherever
they are on their sustainability journey. By providing actionable advice and thought
leadership and fostering collaboration across healthcare business intelligence,
we aim to maximise the impact of sustainable practices and inspire meaningful
change.
Our Sustainability Committee leads our work in this area. The committee's focus areas include:
- Providing advice and guidance to members to support them on their sustainability journey.
- Maximising sustainability impact through raising awareness and providing thought leadership.
- Developing the role the BHBIA plays in supporting the membership with sustainability.
- Encouraging collaboration on sustainability initiatives across the supply chain.
New Guiding Principles for Environmental Sustainability
Our new Guiding Principles for Environmental Sustainability are designed to help you establish and integrate best practices and principles throughout your organisation, driving outcomes that respect our planet as the foundation of life and quality of living.
We know that business intelligence teams in pharmaceutical companies will be governed by their companies' overall ESG strategy. Therefore, this guidance focuses on market research and analytics agencies/consultancies, fieldwork agencies and personal members.
If you are a member with a question about the guiding principles, please get in touch with us. Please ensure you have read all the information in the document before submitting a question.
Show your support through sponsorship
We have two exciting opportunities for organisations to showcase their commitment to a sustainable future. In return, you can align your brand with industry excellence and enjoy brand visibility through the BHBIA’s events and digital channels, reaching a large and engaged audience of healthcare business insights professionals.
- Annual Conference Sustainability Sponsor - Offset the carbon footprint of the BHBIA's flagship conference in May 2025, where approximately 280 healthcare business insights professionals will gather over two days to share knowledge, foster innovation, and shape the future of our industry. Sponsorship fee: £1,500 + VAT
- BOBI Chair's Award: Best Approach for Sustainability - The Best of Business Intelligence (BOBI) Awards recognise excellence in business intelligence in the UK and celebrate the dedication and spirit that define our industry. This year’s Chair’s Award will recognise projects that have applied clear sustainability principles throughout their lifecycle, leading to improved sustainability outcomes. Sponsorship fee: £2,500 + VAT.
