Sometimes, we find ourselves wishing we could more effectively connect and communicate with the people around us. Join the Introduction to Insights Discovery and discover how a simple four-color model can improve you ability to adapt and connect with your colleagues and stakeholders, making the most of the relationships in the workplace. With your personalised Insights Discovery Profile in hand, you’ll gain valuable insights into your strengths and areas for growth.

Purpose

This workshop will help you on your journey towards becoming a trusted business partner and to strengthen your relationships and the value that you bring to your colleagues and stakeholders. The Introduction to Insights Discovery® workshop is an interactive session designed to explore and understand how different personal styles and preferences can impact what you think you are saying and what the other person hears. During this workshop, you will learn how to recognise your own preferences and that of others. You will discover how to communicate with different types effectively and to engage and influence your business partners.

Read more about Insights Discovery® and why this is a powerful self-awareness model below

Insights Discovery creates a common language that is simple to understand and remember. Your Profile will show your natural preferences using the four colour energies. Every person has all four colour energies within them which influence their motivations and behaviours. It is the combination of these energies which creates each unique personality. This means that we approach situations differently and by understanding your own and others’ preferences better, you can take simple, practical actions that improve your everyday relationships and how you engage and influence your business partners.

The Profile is a detailed report about each individual which is produced based on their responses to an evaluator. It helps people understand their personal style, acting as a powerful tool for self-awareness and personal development.

What can you expect?

You will be asked to complete an online evaluator before the course. Once completed, you will receive a personalised profile, with information on your key strengths and weaknesses, the value you bring to your team, communication preferences, and much more. The workshop will take you through the theory behind Insights Discovery® and what your profile means for your own communication style, how others interact with you, and opportunities for your ongoing professional development.

Who should attend?

This workshop is aimed towards anyone who wishes to understand their style, their strengths, communication preferences, and the value they bring to any team. It is also a useful tool for anyone wanting to develop their communication, influencing skills, confidence, or impact as part of their own personal career development. It may also be a useful opportunity for managers to better understand the mix of strengths and styles within their teams by attending together and receiving guided analysis of what this means for team dynamics.

A completed Insights Discovery® Evaluator is a prerequisite for attending the Influencing without Authority workshop 15th February as it gives learners a foundation of self-awareness and a common language that will be used use during the day.

If you wish to attend Influencing without Authority but do not have a previous Insights Discovery® profile – completed through the BHBIA or other organisations – you will need to attend this short workshop first.
