Members' Forum - Analytics
Hamilton House, Mabledon Place, London WC1H 9BD
Tuesday 06 June 2017, 12:45 PM - 5:00 PM
This meeting will focus on the needs of our members working in commercial/sales analytics, SFE and related areas.
Lunch will be provided from 12.45pm allowing time for networking and to attend our 'Analytics Expo' trade fair (more information on this to follow)
We will start the meeting at 14.15pm
Provisional Agenda
- Introductions
- Background – overview of 2017 BHBIA analytics events/engagement
- Future developments – what should the BHBIA be offering in 2018 in terms of training, events and activities for analysts and how can we engage members to make these happen?
In preparation for the meeting it would be very helpful if you could chat to your colleagues so that you can represent their views as well as your own regarding:
- The topics/themes that would be most likely to motivate you and your colleagues to attend BHBIA training courses/events;
- Any general suggestions for how we can improve BHBIA offerings to meet the needs of those specialising in analytics/SFE and related areas;
- Any specific knowledge/skills that your company might be able to offer
to help us run training courses/events (if applicable);
- Any ideas of companies we could approach help us run training courses/events (if applicable).
You may also be interested in our Innovating Through Analysis workshop, to be held in the morning of 6th June, at the same venue - we encourage members to come to both events.
Objectives for the forum will include:
- To understand your needs in terms of topics that would inspire you or your team to attend BHBIA training courses/events.
- To enlist your involvement in planning these (involvement could range from helping us to identify potential speakers or training providers through to convening or speaking at an event yourself).
- There will also be an opportunity to discuss any other issues pertinent to analytics and suggestions as to how the BHBIA can engage and meet the needs of this important sector of our membership.
There is no charge for this event but places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment, and please do let us know if you later find that you are unable to attend, so that your place can be given to someone else. We will email you to confirm your place and to provide directions to the venue.
To allow as many member companies as possible to participate we will initially need to restrict attendance to one person per company, but we welcome all levels and hope that attendees will have a mix of different job roles. (due to the smaller overall numbers of pharma company personnel it may be possible for more than one person from a given pharma company to attend - please check with us if you would like to bring a colleague).
