Julie O’Donnell – Digital consultant, Co-Founder & CEO of One15 Healthcare
Julie has been focused on digital strategy in the pharmaceutical sector for almost a decade. Her experience ranges from traditional and online PR, congress and events, content strategy, social media, sales force-driven digital engagement, CRM strategy, email marketing, patient adherence programmes, clinical tools and KOL programmes and more. She has a diverse skillset, anchored in digital engagement, that allows her to provide guidance and support that will help to differentiate your business and brand.
Julie collaborates with clients in the pharmaceutical sector to embed strong digital strategic planning at the core of how companies 'think’.
Julie Fidler – National Engagement Lead for NHS Digital
Julie is currently the National Engagement Lead for NHS Digital, building relationships with suppliers, vendors, commissioners and patients. She specifically leads on ‘Patient engagement, self-care and prevention’ where there is a new generation of digital services that has the potential to revolutionise how we all think about and manage our own health and care – and to reduce pressure on frontline services. Julie’s team are working to unlock the power of this technology, including building a new library of apps & wearable technologies, and a unified, free Wi-Fi across health and care to give easy digital access to patients and clinicians.
Julie started her career in the financial world then moved into the public sector, primarily in health helping organisations through large scale transformation. She is also a professional coach, with over 20 years leadership experience enabling management teams and individuals to achieve their goals. Her passions outside of work include running, Italy, a bit of a foodie & a bit of a data geek.
Michael Seres: Founder at 11Health
Michael is the founder of 11Health, the world’s first sensor network company focused on helping patients with long term chronic conditions who are connected to medical bags. He was diagnosed aged 12 with the incurable bowel condition Crohn's Disease. In late 2011 he became the 11th person to undergo a small bowel transplant in the UK at The Churchill Hospital in Oxford. More recently he is a two-time cancer survivor.
Michael started blogging about his journey and is a published author and patient mentor. He was the co-Chair of NHS Digital Services User Council & helped implement the first skype clinics in UK. In 2015 he was announced as Stanford Medicine X first Patient-in-Residence and is an Executive Board member. In addition he develops social media programmes and on line communities specifically focusing on patient to patient & patient to doctor interaction.
Kai Gait – Senior Digital Director, Innovation Team at GSK
Kai is a Senior Digital Director at GSK within the Innovation Team. Kai has spent the past 20 years working around the world, leading enterprise digital and innovation programmes for major companies adapting to their changing environments. Kai leads GSK’s and the pharma industry’s first standalone, Class I Medical Device app, MyAsthma, and also the digital ecosystem for the ‘smart’ inhaler programme.
When he’s not behind a work device, Kai lives with his passion for technology, travel, photography, being with his family and annoying his wife with their smart-home technology.
John Zibert - Chief Medical Officer, Leo Innovation Lab
Dr. John R Zibert has been focusing on clinical research on skin diseases and cancers for over a decade. After more than seven years’ in LEO Pharma doing drug development and launching new products, with the last position as Medical Director for region Europe+, he then moved to the independent unit LEO Innovation Lab, as Chief Medical Officer, to co-create and start a more agile organization, where digital innovation thrives and solutions can be brought to patients and HCPs. The non-pharmaceutical-brand focus for the work being conducted is solving problems within the patient journey, with several solutions launched e.g. skin symptom tracker “Imagine” (https://getimagine.io/), adherence tool “InTouch” (http://www.heyintouch.com/), product finder for patient needs “HelloSkin” (https://helloskin.dk) , and “PSOhappy” (https://www.psohappy.org/), with the latter solution having engaged, and continuously engaging with, more than 150.000 people with psoriasis, gathering real-time insights to help people better understand their skin disease.
