The BHBIA is currently seeking candidates interested in joining the BHBIA team of executive officers who support the Board of Directors to meet our members’ needs. 

There are two roles available:

• BHBIA Learning and Development Officer
• BHBIA Communications Officer

BHBIA Learning and Development Officer

The primary focus of this role will be the ongoing planning and implementing of learning and development activities to meet the needs of the BHBIA membership. An important initial project will be to work on the development of an online platform for our newly created Skills Framework, which is designed to help members plan their learning and development.

You must be a self-starter, with a passion for healthcare business intelligence, strong oral and written communication skills and ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision. Specific experience of organising training activities and/or online learning platforms would be valuable.

BHBIA Communications Officer 

This is a broad-reaching role spanning many areas of BHBIA activity, with the primary focus on providing marketing communications support to optimise member engagement with BHBIA initiatives and attendance at events. The annual BOBI Awards and our Ethics & Compliance workstream are two key areas that the new officer will be involved in.

The overall aim is to support the Board to build upon the existing success of the organisation by making sure that we reach as many members as possible to allow them to benefit from what we offer.  

You must be a self-starter, with a passion for healthcare business intelligence, strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail. Specific marketing / communications experience would be valuable, but an understanding of our industry is more important.
