We are delighted to announce the appointment of Joel Jitell (Day One Strategy) as the new chair of the DE&I Committee. Joel has been an integral part of the Committee since its inception in 2021, and became Deputy Chair shortly after. Joel has a deep commitment and passion to fostering an inclusive and equitable culture and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Joel is well equipped to guide the Committee through the launch of new initiatives and we are pleased to support these efforts going forward.

Joel will take over the role from Simon Barnes who has led the Committee from the outset. We would like to extend our thanks to Simon for his dedicated leadership and invaluable contributions during his tenure. Simon was instrumental in helping to develop the Committee and his dedication and hard work has made a lasting impact.

Bridget Pumfrey (BPR Pharma) will take on the role of Deputy Chair and we also look forward to welcoming other new members in the new year.
