HRW adds Rhiannon Phillips and Emma Neville to behavioural science team

October 29th, 2019

Healthcare Research Worldwide (HRW) has expanded their applied behavioural science team, HRW Shift. Adding two new experts in behavioural science: Rhiannon Phillips and Emma Neville.

Rhiannon Phillips joins HRW as an experienced Behavioural Scientist, having co-founded the behavioural science team at Breaking Blue (part of Cello Health). She brings extensive primary research experience across qualitative and quantitative methodologies as well as more innovative approaches. She also adds greatly to the HRW team with specific expertise in Social Cognition gained during her MSc in the subject from UCL, as well as her dual BSc from Bath Spa University in Sociology and Psychology.

Emma Neville comes to HRW as a graduate Behavioural Analyst following MPhil History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine at University of Cambridge. In addition to an exemplary academic record (top of her class at Cambridge during her BA, and awarded distinction for her MPhil), Emma has gathered research experience with internships with the Qualitative Research Team at the Cambridge Institute of Public Health (IPH), APCO Worldwide, and Procter & Gamble Behavioural Sciences Department.

The addition of Rhiannon and Emma brings the multi-award-winning HRW Shift team to 9 members across multiple complimentary disciplines of behavioural science (behavioural economics, psychology, and neurolinguistic programming). This increase will allow the team to effectively serve their surging client base; delivering even more projects with robust and actionable behavioural science consultancy.

“It’s unbelievably exciting to add Emma and Rhiannon to the HRW Shift team. We had a long hiring process with an extremely high calibre of candidates, and they are certainly the best of the best. They both represent agile thinkers who can leverage their deep behavioural expertise and explain things simply and passionately. We’re going to learn so much from one another and really advance the impact for our clients with them as part of the team at HRW” – Katy Irving, Global Head of Behavioural Science (HRW Shift)

"I’ve been fascinated by all facets of people and human behaviour for as long as I can remember and, in another life, I think I could have ended up in medicine. Now, somehow, I’ve landed this opportunity with HRW. I’ll not only spend my days geeking out on the subjects I love most with the Shift team, but I’ll be applying it to a field I find equally fascinating. To be honest I’m still waiting for it to sink in! I can’t wait to get stuck in." - Rhiannon Phillips

“I cannot wait to join HRW Shift and put my expertise to use in one of the most decorated and dedicated behavioural science teams in market research. It’s clear to me that HRW is an environment where staff are given support to learn, grow and ultimately do great work – I can think of no better place to launch my career.” - Emma Neville
