Announcing the winners of the BHBIA Rising Stars Conference Prize 2025

March 27th, 2025

The BHBIA is delighted to reveal the winners of the 2025 Rising Stars Conference Prize, an initiative designed to create an opportunity for more emerging talent to participate in the BHBIA Annual Conference. The two outstanding entrants who will be joining our conference in May are Alice Carden from Adelphi Research and Sabrina Iqbal from Prescient Healthcare Group.

With a number of high-quality entries, the judging panel, who reviewed all submissions anonymously, faced a tough task in selecting the final winners. However, Alice and Sabrina stood out for their engagement, enthusiasm and thoughtful reflections on what it takes to learn and grow within healthcare business insights.

Alice impressed the judges with her strong engagement with the BHBIA and a clear appreciation of how attending the conference could support her development. She also shared compelling ideas on how to encourage and involve more rising stars in future BHBIA events.

Sabrina submitted a well-articulated entry, offering fresh suggestions for future initiatives. She demonstrated a clear understanding of the importance of networking and a genuine commitment to getting stuck into conference activities.

We understand that opportunities to attend conference for those at the start of their career can be limited but we hope that early exposure to events like this will be transformative for these members of our Rising Stars group.  It will equip them with valuable knowledge, help them build a robust network and hopefully inspire them to play a role in the BHBIA in the future.

Many congratulations to Alice and Sabrina. We look forward to welcoming you both to the Hilton London Wembley this May.
