New York, NY – April 4, 2017 – SHC Universal, a market leader in custom Healthcare Survey solutions and Online data collection, has named Phil Sofia as the Company’s new President.

Having most recently served as the General Manager of GLG’s New Markets division for EMEA, Phil has held a number of global commercial and general management roles in the market research and advisory services industries across his nearly 20 year career.

Phil has deep experience partnering with senior executives in the healthcare space, having run GLG’s Life Sciences practice in Europe, and in North America prior to that. In these roles Phil led teams that provided customized market research, diligence support and primary research to pharmaceutical and medical device executives across numerous functions. Prior to GLG, Phil spent nearly 10 years at the CEB, the leading member based advisory firm, where he led teams that partnered with senior finance and strategy executives from Fortune 500 firms. Phil received his MBA from the Stern School at NYU and his Bachelor’s in Philosophy from Colgate University.
