Updated guidance for Screener Design & Best Practice now available

September 7th, 2022

The BHBIA Fieldwork Forum has recently completed a project to update the Screener Design & Best Practice guideline document available on the BHBIA website.

The working group has revisited the existing guideline to ensure it is fit for purpose in the current working environment.  And, having consulted with colleagues from EPHMRA, the guidance is published under the banner of both associations.

The guidance is intended to act as a reference point for market researchers who design and implement screeners with a view to raising awareness of potentially challenging areas from a fieldwork perspective.  The document can help facilitate production of an effective screener and help to deliver the project’s objectives in the most efficient, respondent-friendly way possible.

In line with the BHBIA’s objective of helping members to deliver excellence with integrity in all aspects of the business intelligence process this document is available to all visitors to the site including non-members who are searching for best practice in this area.

The BHBIA would like to thank the members of the Fieldwork Forum who worked on this project on behalf of the Association.

  • Kate Shaul (Adelphi Research)
  • Adam Irwin (Gillian Kenny Associates)
  • Melanie Bayley (deFacto Research)

Also, the members of the EPHMRA Fieldwork Forum who collaborated with us on this project.

The updated guidance is now available to download from the Screener Design & Best Practice section of the BHBIA website.
