The BOBI Awards 2025 celebrate the best of healthcare business intelligence in the UK, acknowledging the projects, teams and individuals helping to support healthcare professionals and make a difference to patients’ lives through insight generation.

The Award Ceremony will take place on Monday 12th May 2025 at the Hilton London Wembley, as part of the BHBIA Annual Conference.

You can apply to sponsor an award in 2025 or for take advantage of the three-year sponsorship option, where available, allowing you to secure your sponsorship for longer at the current sponsorship rate.

Awarded for the best submission based on a real-life business intelligence project or programme, the theme of the Chair's Award changes each year.
For 2025, the award will recognise an approach that applied clear sustainability principles throughout the lifecycle of the project, leading to improved sustainability outcomes compared to past practices, thereby helping to preserve our planet as our main life support system and source of quality of life.
Awarded for a research or analytical project that demonstrates a significant impact on the client's UK business.
Awarded for a real-life submission based on a research project or analytical approach that has helped a company or the NHS to put patients at the heart of decision-making.
Awarded to the team of analysts who have best showcased their skills in turning complex datasets into an interactive, engaging report that tells the story within the data.
Awarded to a team for the most creative response to the BHBIA's 'Request for Proposal' in a fantasy tender.

Sponsor/host the Best Newcomer Award - no sponsorship fee
Awarded to the newcomer (up to three years' experience in business intelligence) who performs best in a series of individual challenges at a competition day
By providing the venue and hospitality for the day, you’ll gain Sponsor/Host status. To run this event successfully, we require a large room suitable for presentations and multiple break-out rooms, refreshments and a buffet lunch for entrants, judges and organisers (typically 30 - 40 people), and a short drinks reception at the end of the day.
In recent years, sponsors have also filmed and produced a short video capturing the excitement of the day and creating an opportunity for further publicity of their sponsorship online and at the Awards Ceremony.

Sponsor an item associated with the Awards Ceremony - £1,250 + VAT
Enjoy all the benefits of the BOBI Awards publicity, plus specific recognition in association with your sponsored item.
Sponsorship of pre-dinner drinks provided by the ceremony venue. In addition to the general sponsorship benefits, the drinks reception sponsor will be credited on cards on the drinks trays/cocktail tables during the reception.
Sponsorship of wine provided by the ceremony venue. In addition to the general sponsorship benefits, the wine sponsor will be credited on cards or the menu on the tables during dinner.
Sponsorship of a professional photographer who will capture images of the award ceremony. In addition to the general sponsorship benefits, the photography sponsor will be credited explicitly in post-event publicity. The photographer will also take pictures during the conference wearing a t-shirt featuring your logo.

Complete the form for one or more awards or items, ranking them in order of preference. The more options you select, the higher your chances of securing sponsorship.
Sponsorship options are allocated through a fair and transparent process overseen by the BOBI Committee, prioritising:
- Three-Year sponsorship commitments*
- Pharmaceutical companies to encourage greater participation from these organisations
- Other applicants
Applications are drawn at random within these groups with most sponsors securing their first or second choice.
We welcome joint sponsorship where you collaborate with a partner organisation to share costs and benefits.
* Where a three-year sponsorship term has just ended, all applications will have equal priority, giving organisations who could not commit to three years a chance of involvement.
