One-day Workshop
Behavioural Economics – Latest Thinking and Practical Applications
Hamilton House, Mabledon Place, London WC1H 9BD
Wednesday 28 March 2018, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This interactive one day workshop will help delegates think practically about the implications of behavioural economics for healthcare business intelligence. We will use the well regarded “MINDSPACE” model to cover the ground, interspersing plenary sessions with hands-on tasks and discussion of examples from our sector and beyond.
Delegates will leave with an appreciation of the many opportunities that behavioural economics opens up for buyers and suppliers of qualitative and quantitative primary market research, a suite of potential applications, and a sense of where this exciting field might take us next.
Coffee and Registration at 9.00am for a 9.30am start
Who will benefit?
Anyone interested in putting behavioural economics principles into market research practice! Agency and Pharma side, any seniority. Qualitative and quantitative practitioners. Whilst prior familiarity with core behavioural economics concepts is ideal, it is not essential.
Key points:
- Understand which behavioural economics concepts have most meaning for healthcare business intelligence, and how to work with them.
- A structure that follows the well regarded MINDSPACE model, ensuring comprehensive coverage of relevant material.
- Interactive group sessions, with an emphasis on how to implement behavioural concepts and thinking into everyday research practice.
Why attend?
- Explore the edges of your comfort zone – many of the ideas are challenging and demand alternative ways of thinking about how we go about things!
- Run by seasoned researchers, all of whom have experience of applying behavioural economics approaches in commercial settings.
- Return to the office with notes on how to apply behavioural economics thinking to your own briefs, proposals, guides, questionnaires, analysis, and reporting.
The day will be run by speakers/facilitators from 4 different organisations, including a behavioural economics specialist.
