Nic Talbot Watt - Managing Director, Black Swan Analysis
Nic Talbot-Watt has extensive forecasting experience (from prevalent disease states for drug treatment forecasts, to analysis/modelling of disease risk factors by population grouping for diagnostic & vaccine market forecasts). She also holds an honours degree in Pathology from the University of St Andrews and is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.
Nic has over 19 years of market modelling experience (both in-house & agency) at global, EU-level & country level across a broad range of therapeutic areas (including anti-virals) & clinical development / life-cycle phases. She worked for 4 years for the MattsonJack Group in their EU office pioneering transparent model & user interface development, building epidemiologies for their syndicated subscription service (Epidatabase), running epidemiology, forecast modelling & Excel best practice training courses for pharma industry clients before moving to the client side. Most recently, she was Portfolio Manager for GE’s Medical Diagnostics business & Head of Forecasting for GE Healthcare before leaving to set up Black Swan Analysis, the Epiomic segmentation database and Onco-Strat (a proprietary oncology forecasting platform).
Henry Barling - Oncology Market Forecast Analyst, Black Swan Analysis
Henry graduated from the University of Southampton in 2017 achieving Upper Second Class honours BSc in Biomedical Sciences, joining the Black Swan Analysis team in February 2018 as an Oncology Analyst.
Since joining Black Swan Analysis, Henry has worked alongside various clients within the pharmaceutical industry. This work has taken place over a wide range of projects including dynamic patient flow market forecasting and competitive intelligence in several disease areas.
Alongside client facing work Henry has also worked on internal development projects including the Onco-Strat forecasting platform which has given him greater expertise in patient flow modelling and Oncology market forecasting.
