Introduction to UK Pharma Forecasting - Speakers

Richard Goosey – Chief Methodologist - Kantar Health UK

Richard is a Senior Director of Advanced Methods for Kantar Health UK.  He has 30+ years consultancy experience in marketing sciences and advance analytics on both agency and client side.  He is the current Chief Examiner for the MRS Diploma Unit 3 – Quantitative Research & Analysis, and has been the Chairman of Education and Training for the MRS. 

He has run many industry courses and workshops in the past and has won many awards for his conference papers, both in the UK and globally.  He leads the forecasting team for Kantar Health UK , and has worked at Lundbeck as Head of BI and Commercial Planning and Roche in the Marketing Insights & Analysis Group where he was responsible for forecasting.

Brendan Walkden – Senior Consultant – Deallus Consulting

Brendan is a Senior Consultant in the UK office of Deallus Consulting . He has 18+ years industry experience holding roles with Boehringer Ingelheim, MSD, Amgen, Lundbeck and AstraZeneca which have included sales, business analytics, market research and forecasting.   For the majority of this period Brendan has focused on the UK market and now advises clients on forecasting projects on behalf of Deallus.

Through his career Brendan has led the forecasting for many significant brands in the UK pharmaceutical market providing support for products throughout the lifecycle but primarily in the pre-launch phase providing recommendations regarding expected revenues, model assumptions and risk evaluation.  This experience has also included a vast range of therapeutic areas and across both primary and secondary care environments.
